I’m a Yoga Teacher Specializing in ADHD, Anxiety, and Mental Wellness.”
I’ve always felt different – like my mind danced to a rhythm no one else could hear. Growing up with ADHD and anxiety, I often felt misunderstood, overwhelmed, and restless. My thoughts raced, my focus drifted, and I carried an unshakable weight of inner chaos. For years, I thought I just had to try harder to fit into a world that didn’t seem designed for minds like mine.
On top of that, I struggled physically. Constant fatigue and low energy followed me everywhere, and eventually, I learned I have Thalassemia minor – a condition that leaves me with persistently low hemoglobin. It made sense, but it didn’t make life any easier.
I spent almost a decade in corporate sales, thriving on paper but crumbling inside. The fast pace, long hours, and high expectations triggered acute anxiety, and I often wondered if I could keep up the act any longer. I felt like I was constantly treading water, hoping no one would notice how close I was to sinking.
Then, I found yoga.
At first, it was just a way to escape – a quiet corner of life where I could move and breathe without judgment. But over time, yoga became more than that. It became a lifeline, a way to reconnect with myself and feel safe in my body again. Breath by breath, I learned to calm my nervous system, soften the anxiety, and accept my neurodivergent mind as a source of strength – not a flaw.
Yoga didn’t “fix” me – it helped me embrace who I am.
Now, I share this practice with others who know the unique challenges (and gifts) that come with being neurodivergent. I believe that yoga is for every mind – no matter how restless, scattered, or overwhelmed it may feel. If you’ve ever struggled to find peace in a world that feels too loud, I see you. I’ve been there. And I’m here to walk alongside you as you reclaim your calm, focus, and self-compassion.
